Why is My CTEK Battery Charger Flashing Different Lights?

Is there a problem with my charger because it won’t start charging?
CTEK chargers require some counter voltage to begin supplying current. Charging will not commence if the battery is under 2V or there is a poor battery and charger connection.
No LED lights up when the charger is merely attached to a power outlet.
Verify that the power outlet is providing electricity. An LED in the lowest row should illuminate upon connecting the charger to the power outlet. If the charger still isn’t lit, it might be defective.
No LED illuminates when the battery is connected to the charger
The charger needs energy from the battery for the Standby LED to be lit. You can test the charger with a new battery. The battery charger might malfunction if doesn’t light.
No LED illuminates when the charger is plugged into both the power outlet and the battery.
The battery voltage may be lower than 2.2V. You can check it by comparing it to a brand-new battery. If the voltage is higher than 2.2V and nothing happens, the charger may be defective.
The charger doesn’t enter maintenance charging mode
You may connect the battery simultaneously to larger loads. You can check by unplugging the loads and trying to charge them once more.
The battery may also be faulty. If possible, check the voltage at the point at which charging should be complete. If the voltage is less than 14.1V, the battery is probably defective. Use a brand-new battery with the charger to confirm.
LED flashing rapidly

You should physically detach the charger if it hasn’t gone into maintenance charge after 72 hours. Everything is in order if the charger has switched to maintenance charge, and the battery is likely healthy and will function properly with your CTEK charger for a very long time.
Thus, you can leave the charger connected to the battery for an extended period. CTEK chargers fully charge a battery before switching automatically to long-term maintenance.
